 WNAMM09: SKB And The Million Dollar Machine
New cases, and massive moulding machine 23-Jan-09
SKB make a variety of road cases, if you're like me and have a hankering for luggage, especially if it makes you look like a secret agent or someone with something important to do, you'll be interested in SKB's latest.
Starting with the 2 and 4 U studio Flyer laptop recording cases - in which you can place your rackable audio interface plus your laptop and wheel then about - even fit the 2U one into the overhead locker of a plane, they'll keep your stuff all cosy.
Available now at $269 for the 4U and $179 for the 2U (street)
Now that SKB have taken delivery of a massive injection moulding machine ($1 million) For the real robust case freak, they also had the Pelican 1650 inspired, airtight, watertight full-on millitary style cases. Too early to price or sort out the availability, but expect to see the new cases rolling off the press real soon.
