ive been using a pair of pricey senheisers, which are really superb at reproducing how good or bad your mixes are, for years. Theyre so good, that i could even hear some hiss on some of the 5.1 dts remasters of the depeche albums..wow etc

1500 dollars isnt as harsh as i thought they'd be, but you can get some super sweet monitors for that money, and have change left over for some other studio goodies.
