Neat, I wish I enough money to start building a modular system but it's too much of a commitment.

Well a polyphonic modular is cool as an idea and all... until you want to change the sound. Then it's either you stop playing and make the same change over and over for every voice or you keep playing and just don't change your sound. None the less Doepfer does bring the largest number of different modules to choose from and at comparatively low prices.
