Akai APC40 - Unboxing, Straight Into Monster Beats

Tom Cosm takes us on a tour.      02/06/09
Rarely has a MIDI controller been quite so eagerly anticipated as the new Akai APC40, and now that APC40 is nearlt shipping, there's a few lucky folks getting their hands on the advance units. One of those folks is @tom_cosm (AKA Tom Cosm) who's an Ableton Live specialist from New Zealand. As well as the unpacking, we get a really good first impressions - plug it in and see how it works, without the manual sort of thing - which is actually pretty good, but additionally Tom is obviously an expert and just looking at how he has set up this tune and using effects sends and track layouts really opens your eyes to how Live can be used.
