This video is a sneak preview of an upcoming iPhone and iPod touch app by Amidio, Touch DJ.
The video demonstrates how Touch DJ represents tracks as audio waves, which can be manipulated directly to scratch the track, beatmatch two tracks or to change the playback speed of a track.
It's all fairly rudimentary, compared to full-fledged DJ apps. Nevertheless, it looks like it won't be long until the iPhone and iPod touch morph into full-fledged multi-touch DJ platforms.
Anyone ready to carry their music library, and their DJ gear, in their pocket?
