Quite Nyce On Cakewalk's New Production Center 26-Aug-09
In this official Cakewalk video, Quite Nyce offers his take on using the new SONAR V-Studio 100 for hip hop production.
The multi-function V-Studio 100 is a music production workstation that can work by itself or with your computer. It's a USB 2.0 Audio Interface, DAW Controller, Digital Mixer, SD Recorder, and includes a VS Production Pack of virtual instruments and effects for Mac & Windows.
this video shows absolutely nothing about the capabilities of the hardware other than being a backuptrack player!!! so what can this thing do? why should anyone be interested after watching this video? even the beatkangs do more detail in their hype...

This video sets the V-100 backwards. Playing an mc's backup track? That is DEFINITELY not what it should be used for. That's what the $1 cd-r with your backing tracks that you give the soundman to should be used for.
I LOVE Cakewalk product but they do a poor job of selling themselves sometimes. This is one of those times.
