Groovepacks has announced the release of their first sample pack in .wav format: Foundation 1. Here's the details that they have sent us...
Contents of the Pack:
  • The pack comes in a zip file with 387MB.
  • After installation, the contents of the pack will be 427MB in size.
  • All the samples are 24bit/44.1Khz.
The pack contains 209 unique samples in total, divided like this:
  • 20 Atmospheres & Pads loops.
  • 34 Bass loops.
  • 28 individual Drum Hits.
  • 44 full Drumloops.
  • 51 Percussion loops.
  • 32 Sequences loops (leads, melodies, synths).
The loops are at 125 bpm.
The Foundation series is a collection of sample packs designed to help you get inspired and jump start your music creation process. Each sample pack will have a variety of samples, from bass to fx, pads to drumloops, sequences and a drum kit.
Musically, the focus is in the broad range of musical styles deriving from house music, techno, breaks and minimal. It's a series offering samples with character and usability.
It is not a series focusing on a single micro-genre, nor with the most pristine audio ever, nor focusing on only drumloops or bass or whatever. This is for the producer who likes to make music in several electronic styles and wants to have a broad arsenal.
