How would you like to be able to access a free recording studio from anywhere in the world, from any computer?
That's the idea behind PowerFX's Soundation Studio - a web-based music sequencer that lets you make music, ringtones and audio clips in your Web browser, without downloading any software.
The beta version includes over 400 royalty free audio loops, 9 different effects, basic track automation, basic loop editing, loop audition, master channel control and mix down to desktop.
The new site isn't going to replace a desktop DAW. It's not that hard to imagine, though, a day when you run your studio off of the Internet.
