App developers Amidio put together this video to voice their frustration over Apple's App Store approval process.
According to Amidio:
Touch DJ was supposed to be one of our best apps. We never thought there would be any obstacles on it's way to the AppStore. However it has now hit the insane 7 week review mark, and there are no clear signs that it might get approved at all. Lack of communication from the Apple side makes it even worse. We have absolutely no idea about what is going on and why the app is kept unapproved. We have to suspend the work on all new iPhone apps for now.
While Apple announced this week that it had approved over 100,000 apps for the iPhone/iPod touch platform, many developers have expressed frustration with the company over its approval process.
Do you think Amidio's Touch DJ will ever get approved? And do you think it's reasonable for Apple to take this long to approve applications?
WOW bad news. I would not expect that, since they don´t use the iTunes Library, like other DJ apps tried and failed. Or Apple just don´t like DJs.

It is quite sad, especially since there are a couple of other DJ apps out there like Hot Wax and Quixpin DJ. Another DJ app called Sonorosaurus is also having difficulty getting approved. It's obvious that there is a market for this, whether or not Apple wants to put out its own DJ app.

Wouldn't that be classed a monopoly if Apple reject these apps and come out with their own? I seem to remember Microsoft losing a ton of money in lawsuits when it tried a similar thing with its IE browser...
Maybe I should write one quick and jump on the rejection bandwagon.
