Good to see Herman talking about the nuts and bolts of what is involved in creating electronic music gear. Gets a bit deep from time to time, but that's what boffins do innit?
The Filterbank is probably one of the first must have boutique filter units - favoured by many sound mangling producers since it was first made in the late 1990s. The filter is great and very pointy of course, but the real nub of the sound is the incredible, almost digital distortion available - nothing else like it really.
There is also a second part to this - be sure to check it out.
