Tonehammer has another fun holiday freebie for you - Gnomehammer Luftballon, a virtual instrument "balloon ensemble."
The freebie contains 8 core patches covering ballon bumps, air fill, pluck to pop, snaps and modified squeals. The instrument can both be played as a tonal bagpipe-esque instrument or as an untuned percussion kit.
While you might think that the range of a "balloon ensemble" might be limited to fart noises, Tonehammer's been much more creative than that.
"The balloon bumps make my subwoofers shake!", according to one early user. "The balloon fill sounds make me think of strange alien animals. The best freebie ever!"
Check out the audio demo below to hear Luftballon in action.
