WNAMM10: Teenagers On the Loose

Teenage Engineering OP-1 is real      21/01/10

No flash plug

6:7 mins

I must admit, I was sceptical that the OP-1 or VL-Tone for the 21s Century  (and thats in a good way), was first shown at Musik MESSE last year - sceptical in the sense that I thought it would never see the light of day. Well I was wrong, at least that now its actually a real thing which has blinky lights and actually makes a noise - albeit, still under development, and clearly some way off, but it functions and is a working model.

The OP-1 are running a Beta program with 100 units later in the year - no doubt completely oversubscribed due to its lovely looks and OLED LCD screen, then production sometime next year.

Vague, but we will wait - you know we will.
