I always thought the next instalment would be "Re-Host" which would allow AU & VST plugins to be integrated in the Reason/Record environment.

In December it will be 10 years ago Reason 1.0 was release. I'm hoping it will have something to do with that.

It may not be *a* (as in *one*) "secret" project but just a way to "recruit" enough reliable volunteers to broaden the tests of experimental drafts of possible code to include in future releases.
Most of it may never get to the final release due to those broader tests.
...then again, it may also be that R5 is coming ;)

I use to be a hardcore reason user but after all these years on the market the company didn't show something really amazing. On the contrary I think it let down but its super slow updates!
I wouldn't expect something radical or even really useful from propellerheads as the music market is leaded by other serious names at the moment.
