Chromeo are described as possibly the only Arab/Jewish electro funk outfit on the planet, and this may well be right. Their funky electro is made with a treasure trove of vintage analog gear as well as a Pentium II PC running an old version of Cakewalk, passed on to P-Thugg by his Lebanese uncle.
There's something of the Daft Punk about them which you may pick up from this excellent studio snoop fro Motherboard TV. Be sure to check out the voicebox work from P-Thugg.
Their forthcoming release Business Casual is available in the US now, with UK release coming next week (Sept 27th).
