It may just look like a bit of fun, but it could have some quite professional applications. The AirJapp (£8.99) allows you to assign MIDI controls and events to actions of movements made with your iOS device. Whats more, according to our demonstrator, the device will show up as a native MIDI controller in Ableton, and presumably other DAWs.

Devices are available when the App is launched and they are connected to the same Wifi network. There is no actual limit to the number you could have - only the Wifi bandwidth is the issue.

The AirJ app is not available just yet, in the next couple of weeks we're told
