Acoustic Samples has released UDU Free - a free virtual instrument that captures the sound of a Nigerian side-hole pot drum.

  • Samples recorded at 24 bits, 88.2khz downsamples to 24bits/44.1khz.
  • Carefully recorded with all of the possible strokes, bass, bass muted, side, fingertips...
  • Release samples on the bass tone to mimic the movement of the hand.
  • 4 Cycle round robins.
  • Detailed instruments: Up to 15 velocity layers per round robin.
  • Sensitivity button to adjust the response.
  • Available for ASPlayer, KONTAKT 2,3 or 4.
