So here it is, we attended the Korg press conference last night and saw the Kronos in action. Here's a sneaky look at the Kronos from the Korg booth at NAMM.

In short, the much-hyped Kronos is a music workstation, available in three different sizes and including 9 synthesizer engines. There is 12GB of internal sample RAM stored on SSD.

...you've got to hand it to Korg.. Get ready for the inevitable trickle-down effect. Show us your MicroKorg XL version. How many repackagings and sound-engine re-purposings do we expect to see from a densely-packed icecube like this?

Way to compete with the laptops! Shame they had to make it black.
