One of the better sounding - and certainly better looking - audio interfaces has been Apogee's Duet, and now it's received a facelift and more importantly some serious tweeks under the hood too, with the release of the Duet 2.
There are several new features, and rather than list them all again here (I'm sure you've caught the Press Release) we asked product guru Cody Cloe for a quick spin.

The touchpad/ribbon thing is a cool idea. Since you're not using turntables any more why bother with the platter paradigm? I also like the audio interface being built in so it's a one box solution.

I love the focus the marketing manager has on this product. I have the original on my desk, but as a Mac user, how about making some more elegant breakout cables? They still look like hell on my desk. Do I need to jump to a higher product
