We did see this one briefly at NAMM, but unfortunately were unable to get a sound feed. We caught up with Jim Heinz, the creator of SynthX , TimewARP 2600 and other viruals, to give us a little more information on the iOS app.
You can now purchase it for $10 bucks in the Apple App Store - with a recent update giving support to the dual core processing available in the new iPad 2

Just to be clear, SynthX is a polyphonic ARP AXXE emulation. Not an Elka Synthex emulation. The name SynthX was chosen because we see it as a synth expander of sorts.

cool stuff man!! can always see when someone has and had fun in developing there product :D and the gui looks fine as it is, minimal and functional, no fancy distractions. the sounds remind me software-wise to the first ersion of Orion DX software synth. and other old vintage synths. Keep up the great work guys!
