Trio Plays Jazz Through iPads

Alex Skonick Trio perform on video using iPads during the Worldwide Developer Conference      10/06/11

Agile Partners, creators of the Guitar World Lick of the Day, AmpKit, GuitarToolkit, and TabToolkit apps for guitarists, hosted the Alex Skolnick Trio during the Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) in San Francisco on Wednesday night. The jazz trio performed selections from their new album, Veritas, by playing their instruments through iPads. The free performance took place at the San Francisco Marriott Marquis. Bandleader and guitarist Alex Skolnick and bassist Nathan Peck performed using AmpKit, an amps, effects and recording app for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch, and the AmpKit LiNK guitar interface.
