Frontier Design Group has updated BeatStudio, its beatmaking app for the iPad. 

Here's what's new in version 1.1:

• Two FREE downloadable Sample Packs of sounds: Vintage Analog Drum Machine: Go back in time to a day before digital with these (25+) bleeps, bloops, and bops; and Vintage Digital Drum Machine: 30 great sampled drum sounds from classic early digital drum machines
• Edit beats "on the fly" while playing or looping
• Two new snare drums added to the standard built-in sounds.
• Now includes Stomp! Use the iPad's and iPhone's accelerometer to trigger sounds by shaking the device or by stomping with it on your knee.
• Various bug fixes
