is this an open beta? looking forward to see the differences between that daw and ableton live and how projects transfer from one daw to the other. i know that this is made by former ableton people, but what about a possible lawsuit, because it is too similar? would that affect the future users of this product?

This daw is a little more than inspired by Studio One (Which, was inspired by Krystal) and Ableton Live. It's, basically, an integration of Ableton's clip system (note the flow of the effects rack) and Studio One's single window interface. The focus would appear to be on workflow, however, we will have to see if the code is as solid as its competition.
