Win a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 With a Comment

Last comment wins competition starts now      14/08/12

Together with Focusrite, we're giving a way a Scarlett 2i2 96kHz USB Audio Interface. We recently reviewed this unit and were impressed by the sound of the mic preamps and the solid performance of the drivers.

The 2i2 also comes with the Focusrite Plug-in Suite - AU and VST comprising , Reverb, EQ, Compressor and Gate.

Head over to Youtube and subscribe to FocusriteTV and our own channel, then leave a comment or comment(s) on the video (this must be on Youtube and not here). We have a fixed date and time in our minds when we will end the competition and will select the last eligible comment at that point in time. That lucky person (assuming they have subscribed to both channels) will be contacted and sent the Scarlett 2i2 to call their very own.

Good Luck!

Focusrite builds on its excellent legacy of audio excellence with the Scarlet 2i2, and Sonicstate keeps you up-to-date with the best in audio & music tech. Combine the two and you're good-to-go!

I checked out the quality of the mic pres, converters, and plugins. To my ears they are on par with the SSL USB audio, Duende Native, and mic pres on the Nucleus at a fraction of the cost! (minus the controller component of course). For a portable rig with a laptop and Novation Impulse keyboard controller, you are Really Goog-To-Go.

A blind hearing test between the SSL and the Focusrite 2i2 would be an interesting proof of value wouldn't it?
