SubPac is tactile audio technology that transfers low frequencies to your body, allowing you to really feel what the low end is doing, adding a new physical dimension to sound.
It has a completely flat response and gives the true low end signal (5hz - 130Hz) without any EQ or compression. Allowing it to be used by producers at home, or in the studio. It is also being marketed at music listeners, as an enhancement of the listening experience of films, games and music. Creating a more immersive listening experience and also enhancing relaxation.
Another great thing about the SubPac is that it is completely silent to the outside world so you can listen and produce at low volume or on headphones without any noise complaints. All the while still retaining a wide frequency range. It is also quite portable so essentially you could have all that low end detail on the train or the plane.... if you wanted to carry it around that is....
The SubPac is not available in the shops yet, however you can pre-order one for $350. Which is less than most entry level Sub's...
You can find more info on how to order and watch videos of big name DJ's and producers giving their support on thesubpac.com.
