HaLion Gets Major Updates

New sounds and an effects and more      23/07/13

Steinberg's Sample and advanced virtual synthesis Intruments HALion (5.0) and HALion Sonic (2.0) have had some major updates.

HALion 5 now has over 2,500 sounds and new granular synthesis engine plus tone wheel organ simulation. In addition there's a slicing mode for adjusting material to fit any tempo.

I tried Halion a few times with no luck. It is such a CPU power hog. I prefer NI Kontakt 5 much better and I am a Cubase user so Halion should be a perfect fit. Maybe one more try or maybe not I am happy with Kontakt.
