I dunno, maybe it's just me but the MK 1 looked sturdier.

Akai are in a funny position with this and partnering on Push, very different price points for sure but I wonder if there's a conflict of interests

I like how they addressed the recessed faders, stop clips, USB Powered and the damn knobs tips falling off. Looks more compact too. Those huge rubber sides on the MKI where a waste of space.

I'll stick with my MK1. Mainly because I've bolted it to an APC20 to make an APC80. And because i've already glued the knob tips to the caps so the don't fall off ;)

Guvnor, and in fairness I will already respond to myself with 'go F yourself' for needlessly pointing out this one..but an APC40 and an APC20 combined would make an APC60, not an APC80 :)
