Porter & Davies tells us that, for the first time ever, keyboardists can get an on-stage sound experience that they never thought was possible with the aid of the Porter & Davies (P&D) bone conduction tactile monitoring system. They say that, if you are using in-ears, which will give you a detailed sound but no physical sound experience, or just on-stage monitors, the P&D BC2 or BC Gigster systems will enable players to hear and feel themselves and their fellow musicians like they've never done before.

The highly portable P&D silent monitoring systems use bone conduction to deliver accurate, intense reproduction of every subtlety of the drums, bass, keyboards or instrument of choice, without delay. P&D says that keyboardists can choose what instruments they want the system to monitor and the significant increase in tactile connection to the sound will enable them to experience better on-stage dynamics.

Keyboardist Jon Beckford, who has been using his BC Gigster while out on tour with Billy Ocean described it as "solid as a rock" and went on to say "there's no turning back with its attack, the rhythm becomes your backbone." Keyboardist for Racoon, Manu van Os agrees. He recently bought the BC2rm and says "I don't want to play without it anymore! It's not only just nice to play with and a welcome addition to the in ear sound but it adds to the quality of your personal part within the music and therefore enhances the total band performance. It gives me the push through the seat without the need for big monitors or wedges to move the air; It clears up the low-end, makes the bass tighter and much more defined. With those two things happening, your total mix gets deeper and wider."

The Porter & Davies systems come free standing (BC2 or BC Gigster) or rack mountable (BC2rm). They will be exhibiting the BC2 and BC Gigster at the Summer NAMM 2014 on their booth #303.
