IK SampleTank 3 Shipping On July 24th

3 weeks left to pre-order      03/07/14

We knew it was coming in July, and now IK Multimedia tells us that SampleTank 3 will ship on July 24th. It's been rebuilt from the ground up: it has a completely new sound set, fully redesigned easy-to-use interface, new effects derived from AmpliTube and T-RackS, a new patterns player with MIDI patterns, a new loop management feature, new filters, a new Live mode and much more. IK says that its new PLAY, MIX and EDIT menus will let you surf within a collection of 33 GB of sounds, over 4,000 instruments, 2,500 loops and 2,000 MIDI files to help you hit it big whether you're working in the studio or performing live.

A spokesperson told us, "The reason SampleTank has remained an industry standard after all these years is due to its superior sound quality, extensive variety and ease of use, making it an essential tool for studio composition and live performance."

Pricing and Availability:

Upgrade today for $99.99/€79.99 if you own SampleTank 2 XL or Miroslav Philharmonik full or Crossgrade for $149.99/€119.99 if you own any other paid IK software, hardware or app.

samplestank=industry sub-standard=a better description..what I've heard sounds like a noisy mp3 player, many of the sounds are so unusable and all of the sounds are simply licensed from other companies. There is no development here, just the ability to change colors, a small screen, unreadable words. always a freezing problem, maybe that's fixed now. I do like the color choices though.

IK news will yet again win the comments section of the week for Sonicstate as the company the community loves to dislike (me included) are met with responses from someone who I haven't worked out is actually an IK rep or not arguing back. Let the flames begin

Now, if IK can just find a way to charge people for commenting here....they will

Yes, I'm a rep here. There is a lot of development here, though, and a lot of work to bring SampleTank 3 to you on July 24th.

We are happy to see people have conversation about our products, and I can assure you many do like to like us even if those that like to dislike us come out to play with any post about us. We still appreciate the conversation and interest in our products. So thank you for that, commenters so far.

SampleTank sounds have been used on major records and tours and will continue to live on in this capacity. Judging by the misinformation (color choices? where do we state that about ST3?) in the first post I'm assuming they are talking about another product or didn't read any SampleTank 3 information before posting.
