Many people are claiming to be the only Poly Aftertouch keyboard on the market, which is not the case - as CME X-Keys is such a thing . The X-Key 25 came out last year and giave us a programmable 25 key Poly AT enabled, iOS compliant, portable keyboard. We took a look it here in Sonic Touch 33.
At MESSE last year, CME announced a 37 key version, but have withheld release while they tinkered with the design. The result was on show at NAMM, with several new modifications. Firstly it has a new "tail" - a breakout cable with sustain and expression pedal inputs and a MIDI out port. The keyboed has been re-tooled to be more dynamic and has a slightly more raised key action.
Additionally the X-Key editor has been re-worked to incorporate the new features (all keys, button, pedal inputs are programmable)
They say it ships now and will cost around $199 US.
