Buying Choices

Probably the most owned and used software instrument in existence, this has become the go to instrument for many film and tv composers as well as producers across the board.

We've been waiting for an update to this super software instrument for a while now and here it is.

Omnisphere 2 has an enormous patch library (10,000+ patches), with several new sounds by Diego Stocco, as well as an extremely deep synthesis engine. Also added is a user audio a much requested feature, 400 new synth waveforms (up from 4), a beautiful enhanced granular synthesis engine and a ton of new features, while keeping it very much  recognisable as the Omnisphere users know.

We were very lucky to have Eric Persing gave us a special Sonicstate demo, showing off some of the new synthesis features - his normal demo is 40 minutes or so and frankly we just can't hold our cameras up for that long! I have to say it sounded pretty darned good, up to the usual Spectrasonics high standard and beyond.

Omnisphere 2 is available April 30th at $499, Upgrade for $249 or $199 if you own Trillian and RMX too, you can get a VIP upgrade for $199.
