It seems as though Mode Machines have been very busy indeed this year. Julian takes us through the full range that was on offer at MusikMesse. From luggage hardware synths to drum machines, sequencers and even foot pedals.

The first synth that we could get very excited about is a clone of the classic Wasp synthesizer, packaged in a very neat looking travel case. We here in the Sonic office love a bit of synthesizer luggage!

Then we see their range of MIDI I/O modules with some unique ways of incorporating an arduino board to open up the hardware to the open source community.

One highlight for me was the very large sequencer that could be the centre of anyones live or studio setup. They are also working on a CV/Gate breakout module that would make this compatible with all your modular or vintage gear.
