High Resolution Music Player For iOS

This just in from Korg...

From rack-type recorders for professional studios to portable USB DAC playback devices, and powerful format conversion software, Korg has helped to pioneer DSD (Direct Stream Digital) technology. AudioGate, the powerful DSD and audio format conversion software that launched in 2006, has since become a blockbuster success; boosting the awareness of DSD. Now, KORG introduces a high-resolution music player fully loaded with the AudioGate player engine customized as an iPhone app with the release of iAudioGate.

iAudioGate incorporates a high-quality sound playback engine equivalent to AudioGate and plays a wide range of audio file types; including high-resolution audio, DSD, FLAC, AIF, WAV, and MP3. The app includes an easy-to-adjust high-definition graphic equalizer, plus a flexible remote control via a dedicated Apple Watch app. The up-sampling function enables users to reproduce music with higher quality, and also enables wireless smart forwarding of audio from Mac / Win (via AirDrop, iCloud Drive, Dropbox etc.)

"KORG was one of the first to realize the potential of high-resolution audio sound, delivering a series of acclaimed recording and playback products. AudioGate is a powerful, proprietary software for handling DSD format and other high-quality files," stated Hironori Fukuda, KORG INC.'s General Manager, Development Department.  "Besides the immaculate sound quality iAudioGate delivers, the application incorporates important features, such as the physically adjustable graphic equalizer, all accessible through a stylish user interface. Create and listen to amazing high quality sound with the iAudioGate app."

Pricing and Availability:
The iAudioGate app is available now for download at the app store for $9.99. ($19.99 after July 31, 2015)
