BugBrand is a name and format of modular you may not have heard of if you're not well versed in the language and "culture" of the modular scene.

Produced just down the road from us in Bristol in a small outfit run by Tom Bugs. BugBrand have produced a range of modular systems and standalone devices.

Since 2013 the modular production and development has taken a back seat in favour of the standalone devices. But some people were lucky enough to get their hands on the modular system. Andy "tIB" being one of them.

Andy performed 15 minutes of heavy flat four techno on the system and explained to us exactly how he was trying to use the limitations of an 8 step sequencer to his advantage.
