Those of you that know iZotope's product range may well be familiar with their RX technology. At the core of a lot of what iZotope do, its an extremely useful range of tools which allows you to fix almost anything in broken, distorted or otherwise spoilt audio files. It reallly is a tool that you should take a look at if you do anything where audio can be problematic - not only for video and film audio, but for any general audio recording where a great take has otherwise been ruined by either operator error, or un predictable occurances, such as coughs or background atmosphere.

In this video, Evan Allen, iZotope's product specialist takes us through some of the new features of RX 5 which was released a few weeks back. As well as adding De-Reverb to the standard edition and an overall price drop, the new plosive eliminator adds more functionality to the Advanced RX 5.

RX5 is available now in both standard and advanced versions.

RX5 Standard £239/$349
RX5 Advanced £814/$1199
