ALM's Akemie's Castle has had much praise over the past year and is really great for drums, however Akemie is big and all that space for one drum voice just seems a little bit crazy!

So in order to solve that problem Matthew from ALM has designed the FM Taiko. A much smaller single chip version of the Akemie.

This is only a prototype and as yet hasn't properly been named apart from that the panel was called FM/FM/FM/FM/Taiko...

This thing produced some really interesting sounds, range from the quite sweet old school FM synth voice sounds to the completely brutal noisy drum sounds!

We'll let Matthew take over from here.
