MeeBlip triode, a hardware synthesizer that is designed to add grimy bass sounds to any music rig, is now shipping worldwide. MeeBlip triode is fully open source hardware that's ready to play. It's produced by the collaboration of Canada's Blipsonic and music tech site CDM.

A spokesperson told us, "Connect it to a computer, iPad, or other music hardware and control its sounds via friendly knobs and switches on the front panel. It packs an edgy analog filter inspired by guitar effects, plus powerful modulation and wavetable features."

The video above is from one happy MeeBlip user and shows the sounds the instrument can make.
