Native Instruments have today announced the new Maschine MK3, the result of 3 years of refinement and design tweaks. It's a pretty much totally reworked version of the Maschine MK2 with some additional Maschine JAM features too.
Pads + buttons have been redesigned to be larger and more responsive, screens have been re-worked to provide more colour and power efficiency. Big news is the audio interface is now on board, 2 in, 4 out (st + headphones) which makes it more of a self contained unit. Integration with the Maschine software means less time at the computer, plus more one handed navigation and operation with their new 4 way push encoder and touch sensitive encoders.
Maschine Mk3 will be available in October at the same price as the MK2:
EUR 599, USD 599, JPY 72800, GBP 479, AUD 899
We had a visit from Boris - who took us through the new features.
