NAMM 2019: Gamechanger Audio Motor Piano - Poly Synth Madness...

US A special behind the scenes look at a new poly synth concept      29/01/19

Gamechanger Audio were showing off their new poly synth concept, the Motor Piano. The idea here is that  instead of using VCOs they're using a DC motor to create the oscillations, if you think about it that's exactly what a motor is anyway...

This is a very early prototype, so although this is a very ambitious project they were keen to show us the machine and give us some idea of what the full blown poly synth could sound like. They're hoping to crowdfund the project some time in the spring then aim for a release some time before the end of the year.

We'll be keeping an eye on this project...
