Baby Audio Re-Imagine Yamaha CS01

US Its their first instrument      25/04/23

Baby Audio has released BA-1, which they describe as a modern re-imagination of a cultish 1982 analog synth that looked like a toy but sounded like a beast. A spokesperson told us, "It brings you pure and authentic textures that are fast to program and dripping in colour."

They also impress upon us that they have not just recreated but enhanced and moved the design forward, adding polypony and a 2nd analogue modeled oscillator, FM and the ability to drain the battery - which gives it the power sag that running down the  original on board power source.
