MusicMakers Hacklab Open Call

A worldwide open call is out to all artists and experimenters interested in shared creation with the The MusicMakers Hacklab that is happening as part of the CTM Festival, 26 January – 4 February 2024.

The opportunity is to work in an open, collaborative environment working together during CTM Festival week to explore and realise new musical ideas. It will culminate in a public finale performance on Sunday 4 February 2024.

The call is open to applicants worldwide. Up to 10 participants will be selected. Participants will be supported with a travel budget of up to 300 euro per person, accommodation and lunch for the duration of the Hacklab, and a festival pass to CTM 2024 events.

This seems like a great opportunity to explore some new compositional work that is conceptually focused.

  • Application Deadline: 15 October 2023
  • Selected Hacklab fellows announced: early November 2023
  • Hacklab week: 29 January – 3 February 2024
