NAMM 2024: Sound-Machines - Arches - T Line Modules

US New touchstrip modules and firmware from Italy      25/01/24

At NAMM 2024, Sonic State caught up with Davide from Sound Machines who introduced the firmware update for their universal tactile interface, Arches. Arches features numerous performance tools including sequencers, arpeggiators, customizable keyboards, and pressure-sensitive controls. The Arches can output via MIDI, Bluetooth MIDI, and CV, making it a powerful tool for musicians. Sound Machines has also introduced a new PC-based web browser programmer for Arches, allowing users to easily program and customize its functionalities.

Davide also introduced T-Line, a series of touch-based modules. The first four modules of the T-Line include a formant filter, a spectrum processor, an attenuverter and Generator - which is a complex oscillator, and all include the lightstrip capacitive interface for hands-on manipulation, but can also accept cv modulation inputs.

Arches Available now. Price: 750 Euros

T-Line Modules Available Spring 2024. Price: Around 200 Euros
