When i comes to notation within music programs, for many yeas Sibelius has been the industry standard. Here we have a video which looks over the development and details of the program, looking at the good, the bad, and the ugly of User Interface design. It is a complex program with some great features, then some completely off-kilter ideas!

In this video, I take a detailed look at the design of Avid's Sibelius - a popular music notation application. Sibelius is the embodiment of what not to do as a user experience designer and this video covers a range of examples of inappropriate design patterns and bad user interface choices. Then I go insane.
