Michael Parker of Avid demonstrates version 2.0 of the Torq DJ software. Developed by AIR in Germany, the software incorporates a 4-deck mode, and a redesigned browser for easier navigation.
Torq has the potential to run 20 effects at once, with 4 inserts and one VST on each deck. New features include the morph feature, taking parts of multiple songs and creating one track.
Existing users of the first version of the Torq software can upgrade for $49, a free trial of the beta version is currently available from the Avid website.
The full software will be available from February 8th.
