We had a good look at the new UA Apollow Twin desktop unit when it was released at Namm earlier this year (in fact we filmed a pre-release in-depth video which you can find here).

We also filmed a piece with designer Lev Perry at Namm, where he expained a bit more about the new Unison technology from an engineering standpoint, so what we thought we'd try to find here at Messe was a view from a slightly different angle - more from a user's perspective.

So we were lucky to catch New York based producer Fab Dupont in between his regular demos, and asked his views on the new unit.
Given the low latency and the ability, in theory, to record tracks using UA plugins directly on the input, one thing I was keen to find out was whether or not Fab actually did make use of that possibility...?
Turns out yep, he does - in fact he's quite adamant about its advantages ;-]
