NAMM 2019: Waldorf Kyra Sounds Demo

US Single unit on show      29/01/19

Remember that synth from Musik Messe? We think it was the only one at the show - it was then called the Valkyrie - an FPGA based super virtual analog machine with more than a passing resemblance to the Virus.

Well its now been taken on by Waldorf, who worked on the design, case and other stuff in conjunction with its original designer and was on display in the Waldorf section of the Korg booth - they distribute in the US.

We did try to get a presentation on it, but when we popped by no one was available, and there weren't any patches in it. But our intrepid reporter Jim Heywood of Synth Memes! Facebook group, saw that it had been populated with sounds and went and played on it for a while.

We don't have any immediate details of final pricing or availability but will keep you posted as soon as we know something.
