NAMM 2023: Lumen Handpan

US Expressive Handpan instrument that can be played unplugged      15/04/23

At NAMM 2023, Sonic State caught up with Reinhardt Buhr, who was performing with the Lumen, the first-ever electronic handpan in the world. The Lumen is an expressive instrument with sensors that provide an exceptional level of dynamic range. The instrument has 360-degree sound and can be played unplugged, thanks to its battery power. The Lumen offers a range of features for both hands, with ten velocity layers and four round robins per velocity layer, providing a highly dynamic Pandrum sound. It is capable of playing dynamics, harmonics, and more.

The Lumen is available now and is officially launched, with a launch discount of 10% for a price of $1,430. It is currently available on the Lumen website.
