NAMM 2023: Mellotron - M4000D - New Sounds

US New expansion card brings previously unreleased sounds to your Mellotron      18/04/23

Sonic State visited the Mellotron stand at NAMM 2023 and spoke with Markus about the latest additions to the M4000D series of instruments. The mini and the M4000D series have an expansion slot and all the usual features of the Mellotron, including the new Card 06, which has looped versions of Chamberlin sounds and unreleased sounds such as a new violin and a never-before-published viola, as well as several cellos and a female solo voice with a slightly different intonation.

Another new feature of Card 06 is the inclusion of Rhythmate, an early Chamberlin drum machine that had infinite loops of different pre-recorded drums.

M4000D Price: 2000 USD

Sound Cards Price: 500 USD
