Superbooth 2023: Frap Tools - Cunsa

US Quadruple analogue, pingable resonant multimode filter      12/05/23

We spoke to Giovanni from Frap Tools at Superbooth 2023 about their new Cunsa quadruple analog multimode resonant filter. This filter has a unique open architecture with semi-normalizations that can be used in different ways such as double stereo, single quadruple, or quadruple mono, and is designed to not lose bass at high Q resonance settings. The Cunsa's character knob can tame distortion and imparts a different character to the sound depending on how it is rotated. Combining these parameters, Cunsa can produce a wide variety of effects, and the filter has a ping circuit, turning it into a sound source with a natural and organic decay.

Cunsa Available Early June Price: 840 Euros
