We have a new guest this week and he's quite a catch - Rich Hilton is Nile Rogers' main man in the studio. He's worked with him for over 20 years, through an A-list of projects as engineer, programmer, musician and more. We're glad to have him aboard this week, as we also are to have PJ Tracy - the Minneapolian composer who's been playing at the highest level for many years, Dave Spiers from GForce Software - makers of fine software instruments - Dave is having a kitchen fitted this week so see if you can spot the power-tool in the background.. Last but by no means least (although I almost forgot him this week), is Mark Tinley - sound artist, engineer and programmer - for many years with Duran Duran. Talk this week begins with the Bent Festival which PJ attended, moves on to a bunch of very poor album covers, SATA drives and data in general, 12 kinds of client and all that it means, the state of music, push ringtones - no thanks, the Time Freezer plug-ins, the Trinity Audio Group Linux based tablet DAW, NIN release a magical CD that changes colour and finally the Simpsons hit 20.
