The Origin is the hardware manifestation of Arturia’s synthesis – at least sort of. The DSP’s inside the Origin did require a lot of re-coding of algorithms and the like to get the best out of this new beast. With up to 32 note polyphony – dependent on the voice architecture, Origin can be seen as a sort of modular synthesizer with a software engine and a hardware interface. We spoke to Frederick Bruin, who showed us a little more of what this baby can do Pricing TBC but in the region of 2-2.5K Euros
Available: early next year
